Acute pyelonephritis is one of the most frequent infectious diseases of the urinary tract and a leading cause of kidney failure worldwide. One strategy for modulating excessive inflammatory responses in pyelonephritis is administration of mesenchymal multipotent stromal cells (MMSCs).
